This vegan spiced hot chocolate is the perfect antidote to winter. It is quick to make and contains all the goodness of cocoa, cinnamon and ginger. In summer time make it, leave it to cool, add in extra milk and ice (and a few shots of iced espresso) and you have the perfect summer milkshake.
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 medjool date
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 30g 100% chocolate/cocoa chopped
Place the date and the milk into a blender and blend until fully combinedPour into a pan and add the spicesSlowly bring to the boilRemove from the heat, add in the chocolate and stir until the chocolate has fully meltedPour into a mug, curl up and enjoy!
