Toasted coconut & double chocolate donuts


A healthy yet decadent take on this all American classic. Chocolate donuts with a maple glaze and a crunchy topping!


  • 1.25 cups plain flour
  • 0.25 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.33 cup maple syrup
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 0.75 cup almond milk
  • 0.25 cup rapeseed oil


  • Preheat your oven to 180C
  • Combine all the dry ingredients then add in the wet ingredients and beat well
  • Pour into greased donut tray rings and place into the oven for 12-14 mins or until they feel springy to the touch
  • Allow to cool completely

To make the glaze:

Heat 1.5tbsp of coconut oil with 2tbsp maple syrup or honey and 2 tbsp cocoa powder. Dip the donuts into the glaze and then dip into toppings of your choice
